Thanksgiving paper chain

With all the rain we've been having lately we needed a fun indoor activity.  I thought about doing a paper chain for "Days till Christmas."  In realizing that we would need 38 paper chain links, I decided to do "Days till Thanksgiving" instead (Calvin's attention span for activities like this is not that great).  Then we only needed 8 chain links.  On each link we thought of something we were thankful for.  Jesus and temples, family, smiles and hugs, animals, food, trains, music, and balls were the ones we came up with.  We'll do another one for Christmas when it gets closer!

Calvin is excited to see "Hank and Leah" for Thanksgiving, and this is one way I thought of for him to know how much longer until we visit them.  We are very excited for Thanksgiving!
