Mandy's Wedding and Christmas 2011

I know I'm probably the last person to write a post about Christmas, but oh well...

Trevor thought it would be funny to switch Calvin and Levi's pajamas.

The night before Mandy's wedding we went to dinner at P.F. Chang's. The kids loved going to a restaurant (probably because it's a rare occurrence).

I think this sums up Calvin pretty much. :0)

Christmas Eve we went to the beach and I couldn't believe how warm it was! I love that you can see the sand flying in the air in this picture. Levi absolutely LOVED the ocean.

Calvin didn't care for the water so much. He was happy staying this far away from the water. :)

If we didn't watch Levi he would have just run into the ocean by himself. He had no fear of the water.

This is how he acted whenever we took him away from the water.

Calvin eventually warmed up to the ocean and got closer to it.

Calvin loved spending time with the Melo family. :0)

Calvin always talks about "fighting with Alicey." He still mentions he's thankful for it in his prayers. It was definitely one of the highlights of his trip.

Alicey was Mary, Olivia was an Angel, Calvin was Joseph, Levi was a shepherd.

What an enthusiastic Joseph (but he did a good job).

About a week before Christmas, Calvin was mentioning much more frequently that he wanted a Buzz Lightyear backpack from Santa. We were worried that Santa might not have gotten the message but thank goodness he came through (thank you Amazon Prime!).

Christmas morning Calvin didn't want to get out of bed for a long time. He was really upset because he thought Santa was going to be there and he was going to meet him. :(

Calvin loved his new flashlight.

Calvin wanted to sit with the Melos while we opened presents after church. He loved being with his cousins.
